The Heart Tree was inspired by a beautiful story: a mother commissioned it from me, to give as a thank you gift to the team of heart surgeons who saved her children's lives. In gratitude for her satisfaction, she allowed me to share it with the world and with you. It is the greatest act of love.
Emotions of love, gratitude and healing lie within its lines.
It mixes human anatomy with floral motifs, medical texts and poems of gratitude in Latin (my Latin teacher helped me :))
